Clinical leads
Dan founded the clinic with his wife Katie after more than 15 years as a chartered physiotherapist, including roles as an orthopaedic knee specialist in the NHS and physiotherapist for Manchester United FC. His specialist interest is knee osteoarthritis, and he has trained and mentored physiotherapists throughout his career. Today Dan leads the clinic rather than treating, setting the clinical standards behind every patient’s care.
Away from the clinic he is a keen tennis and padel player. He’s a self-confessed coffee connoisseur and loves active weekends with Katie and their children.
Katie is a specialist chartered physiotherapist with over 15 years of NHS experience as a junior, senior and advanced physiotherapist. Her real passion is helping patients with complex rehabilitation needs: falls and balance problems, arthritis, neurological conditions, and memory or cognitive difficulties that make everyday movement harder. She has a particular gift for helping people stay safe, mobile and independent, whether in the clinic or in their own home.
A former British gymnastics, sports acrobatics and cheerleading athlete, Katie still loves the gym and Pilates, and days out with Dan and the children.
Physiotherapists
Liam is dual qualified with first class honours in both physiotherapy and sport rehabilitation. For three seasons he was the sole therapist for semi-professional side Warrington Rylands FC, trusted with every injury from first assessment through to return to the pitch, including their FA Vase-winning season at Wembley in 2021. Alongside that he has NHS experience across musculoskeletal outpatients, community rehabilitation and stroke care, and has treated everyone from junior footballers to older adults, so whatever brings you in, he has almost certainly seen it before.
In his spare time Liam enjoys football, keeping active and, most of all, spending time with his wife and their little boy Archie.
Craig graduated with a first class degree in physiotherapy, earning the Academic Award for Most Outstanding Contribution in recognition of both his clinical skill and academic excellence. He treats a wide range of muscle and joint problems with a friendly, thorough approach that patients quickly warm to.
Craig is currently on an extended travelling adventure in New Zealand and returns to the clinic in summer 2027.
Amelia holds a master’s degree in physiotherapy and trained at some of the region’s most respected centres, including orthopaedic care at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, one of the UK’s leading specialist joint hospitals, alongside musculoskeletal, neurological and respiratory placements and pitchside work with a rugby club. Patients quickly notice her warmth: she takes time to understand how a problem is affecting your life, not just your body, and builds treatment around both.
A competitive horse rider and former dance teacher, Amelia understands recovery from the patient’s side too, and her master’s in veterinary physiotherapy means she is probably the only physio in Warrington who can treat you and your horse.
Sports therapy & rehabilitation
Chesca specialises in exercise-based rehabilitation, helping patients recover from injury and build the strength to stay active, whether that means returning to sport or simply moving comfortably day to day. She leads our Clinical Pilates programme and holds accreditation from the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers, the UK standard for sports rehabilitation practice.
Outside the clinic she loves time with her family and is, by all accounts, an excellent baker.
Luke has worked with athletes at St Helens Rugby League Club, Marine AFC and Winnington Park RFC, alongside clinic experience treating a wide range of everyday muscle and joint problems. He combines hands-on treatment with practical rehabilitation to get people moving again.
Away from work you will find him at Goodison Park cheering on Everton, playing football or in the gym.
Reception & Support Team
Emma is our senior client care coordinator and is here to give you the warmest welcome from your very first phone call. She brings more than 25 years of experience in welcoming, organising and looking after people, from running the reception at a busy Warrington high school for eight years to helping run her own family business, so you’re in very safe hands with appointments, questions and anything in between.
A local mum of two, Emma loves practising yoga, spending time with her family and their adorable Miniature Schnauzer, and weekends in North Wales taking in the scenery. She’s also a devoted Take That fan.
Jayne keeps the front desk running smoothly, from booking your appointments to handling enquiries and insurance paperwork, and comes to us with experience doing exactly that at a busy physiotherapy clinic. Before that she spent more than 30 years as a university librarian, rising to Director of Library Services, three decades spent helping people find what they need with patience, precision and a listening ear. If something needs organising, Jayne is the person you want organising it.
Away from the clinic, Jayne loves going to festivals, spending time with her husband and looking after her dogs.
Helen is one of the first friendly voices you’ll hear when you contact the clinic. Fun, energetic and genuinely interested in people, she loves getting to know our patients and catching up with them every time they visit. She joined us from Circle Health Group’s private hospital in Cheshire, where she managed patient appointments, referrals and records across physiotherapy, MRI and X-ray, so she knows exactly how to make your journey from first phone call to treatment feel effortless. Before that she spent over 20 years looking after people, including twelve as cabin crew and cabin manager, where staying calm, warm and unflappable comes with the job.
Helen lives locally, and away from the clinic she is an advanced scuba diver.
