1. About These Terms
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at stocktonheathphysio.co.uk (“the website”), operated by Stockton Heath Physiotherapy & Wellness (“we”, “our”, “us”, “the clinic”). By accessing or using the website you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the website.

3. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting the revised version on this page. Your continued use of the website after any change means you accept the updated Terms. Please check this page periodically so you are aware of any changes.
4. Using Our Website
You may use the website for lawful purposes only. In particular, you agree not to:
- use the website in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation;
- use it for any fraudulent purpose, or in connection with any unlawful activity;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server, or any connected system;
- introduce viruses, malware or any other material that is malicious or technologically harmful;
- collect or harvest information about other users, or misuse any contact or enquiry facility.
We may restrict or withdraw your access to the website if, in our reasonable opinion, you breach these Terms.
5. Information Is Not Medical Advice
The content on our website is provided for general information only. It is not a substitute for professional medical assessment, diagnosis or treatment, and you should not rely on it as such. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional — including our clinicians during a consultation — regarding any medical condition or symptoms. If you have an urgent or serious medical concern, contact your GP, call NHS 111, or in an emergency call 999. No clinician–patient relationship is created simply by using the website; it begins only when you attend an appointment with us.
6. Booking Appointments and Payments
Our website does not take payments or store card details directly. When you choose to book online, you are directed to the secure booking platform provided by Jane (our practice-management provider), where you register an account and enter your details in order to book. Any card stored for booking is held and processed by Jane through its own secure, PCI-DSS compliant systems.
Your use of Jane’s platform is subject to Jane’s own terms of service and privacy policy, which are separate from these Terms. We are not responsible for the operation of Jane’s platform, but we do handle your booking and clinical information in line with our Privacy Notice.
7. Appointments, Fees and Cancellations
Fees for our services are as advised at the time of booking and may change from time to time. To be fair to other patients and our clinicians, we operate a cancellation policy: if you need to change or cancel an appointment, please give us as much notice as possible. Appointments cancelled with insufficient notice, or missed without notice, may be subject to a charge in accordance with the cancellation policy in force at the time. Full details of current fees and our cancellation policy are available from the clinic and are confirmed to you when you book. [Confirm your notice period and charge here, e.g. 24 hours.]
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the website — including text, graphics, logos, images and page design — is owned by or licensed to Stockton Heath Physiotherapy & Wellness and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print content for your own personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute or exploit any part of it without our prior written permission.
9. Links to Other Websites
Our website may contain links to third-party websites (for example Jane, or health information resources). These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the content, accuracy or practices of any third-party website. A link does not imply that we endorse that website. Please review the terms and privacy policy of any third-party website you visit.
10. Enquiries and Submissions
If you contact us through the website or submit information via an enquiry or contact form, you agree to provide accurate information and not to include anything unlawful, offensive or that infringes the rights of others. Any feedback or suggestions you send us may be used by us without obligation or payment to you. Information you submit is handled in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
11. Availability of the Website
We aim to keep the website available and its content accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. The website is provided “as is”. We may suspend, withdraw or change all or part of it without notice. We are not responsible if the website is unavailable at any time or for any period.
12. Our Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence (including clinical negligence), for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Subject to the above, and in relation to your use of the website only, we will not be liable for any loss or damage — whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website, or from your reliance on any content on it. This does not affect any rights or claims you may have in connection with the clinical care and treatment we provide to you, which are dealt with separately and are not limited by these website Terms.
13. Privacy and Cookies
Your use of the website and our services is also governed by our Privacy Notice, which explains how we collect and use your personal data and how we use cookies. Please read it alongside these Terms.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms, their subject matter and their formation are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15. Contact Us
