Sports Therapist & Rehab

- Conduct fitness-level assessments and advise on exercises and treatment
- Test joints for range of movement, pain, and dysfunction
- Mentally and physically prepare athletes before competitions
- Examine and assess injuries
- Treat and manage injuries
- Rehabilitate injuries using manual therapy techniques, exercise, and therapeutic methods
- Design and monitor rehabilitation programs
- Decide whether extra treatments are needed and coordinate referrals to other practitioners
- Work with colleagues to implement exercise, conditioning, core stability, and injury prevention programs
- Liaise with other therapists to gain knowledge and support
- Deliver outstanding customer service
- Help create a positive work environment
